Banaras Hindu University (Hindi: काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय) (commonly referred to as BHU) is a public central university located in Varanasi  Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya,BHU is one of the largest residential universities in Asia, with over 20,000 students.The university's main campus spread over 1,300 acres (5.3 km2) was built on land donated by the Kashi Naresh, the hereditary ruler of Banaras. The Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, spread over 2,700 acres (11 km2) hosts the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Agriculture Science Centre) and is located in Barkachha in Mirzapur district, about 60 km (37 mi) from Banaras.

1.  Registrar : 01 post
2.  Deputy Registrar : 02 posts
3.  Assistant Registrar : 03 posts
4.  Junior Assistant : 16 posts

Application fee : in the form of a MICR Coded non-refundable demand draft : (i) For Group ‘A’ posts : Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST and PD candidates) (ii) For Group ‘C’ posts  Rs. 250/ - (Rs.100/- for SC, ST and PD candidates)  should be drawn in favour of the Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) payable at S.B.I., I.T. BHU Branch (Code 11445), Varanasi.
